I’m Sona Khosla. Writing has been something I’ve enjoyed since the young age of 12. Now, however, my writing is less about boys and cat fights and more about the world around me.

www.sonakhosla.com is a place where I get to share my thoughts, perspectives, ideas, opinions and reviews with you. I’m not gonna lie, I was thinking more about me than you when I set this blog up. That’s because writing connects me back to myself.

If you are wondering who I am or where the hell I am coming from, here’s my background in a nutshell:

• I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Communications at the University of Calgary in 2000. I finished with one course shy of a minor in African Studies.
• I completed my Masters of Publishing from Simon Fraser University in 2002. I wrote my final report on eBooks and university presses. That was way before the Kindle.
• I’ve spent the last 10 years in Marketing-related jobs, ranging from managing my own Marketing Communications business called Mazaa Design, to running the Brand & Marketing department at NEOVIA Financial and now joining the Marketing team at iStockphoto.

Because my perspective is only one of billions, I have also invited my friends, colleagues and family to share their perspectives on this blog. You can find them in the Community section of this site.
