Hi Aubrey,

Yes, I am taking it still but not as regularly. Except in the winter, I tend to go back to being very regular to keep my immune system in top shape so I don't get the flus/colds that are going around. Other than that, I find I don't need as much so I maybe only take it every few days or 1x/week.

I have gone through periods of home cooking my dog's food to see if their various problems cleared up, and believe me compared to the time it took prepping the veggies, meats, and rice, I am so happy just to have a 'sausage' to cut up.

I have one sausage defrosting while I am using the defrosted one for the day. I have a sharp knife and I cut the sausage in quarters over one of the dog's plates: two of the quarter pieces go into a plastic bag for the evening meal. One knife to wash and it's all done.

I too am happy with the results as one dog doesn't smell any more and the other one doesn't get pustules and dry itchy skin now.

Hi Janice, it really is an amazing product. I've seen benefits on so many levels: mental clarity, emotional stability/increased joy, less pain in my joints, more energy and stamina, better sleep. The list goes on. It really seems like it just does what you need it to. I'd love to hear what your experiences are.

Hey Kelly,

Yes, I did talk to them about the packaging and they gave me some instructions on how to better manage the sausage style patties. Here's what they suggested: http://www.sonakhosla.com/2010/03/25/pets-go-rawng-how-a-simple-change-ruined-the-brand-follow-up/#more-26. If you have any questions for them, they are very prompt and respectful in their replies, so you could surely contact them.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Sona,

Just wondering if you ever contacted 'pets go raw' about their packaging? And if so, what was their feedback?

I enjoyed your blog about feeding raw to your dogs. We have cats and I found some similar problems with the packaging.

take care,
